Our Chichester fitted bathroom cabinets are configurable, so were designed for those homes that need an unusual size or a specific arrangement of storage. They have the same classic look as our freestanding washstands, but you can mix the various cabinets and then bring them together with skirting and your choice of work surface so they look like one solid piece. This curved base cabinet can go at one end or both of either a long or short run of cabinets if you want something softer on the eye, The Chichester fitted cabinetry features all the same classic details as the Chichester washstands – including a painted finish in your choice of colour – but you can combine the various cabinet sections any way you like. To design your configuration.

The Materials: When it comes to painted timber, we use tulipwood – a strong and resilient hardwood. Its fine, almost knot-free grain makes it perfectly suited to a painted finish, so you get the best of both worlds – strength and smoothness.

The Finish: Not every piece of furniture and every colour of paint needs the same process – a ‘one finish suits all’ approach won’t ever give you the best result possible. That’s why we vary the number of coats and use both hand-painted and spray-painted techniques depending on what that shade requires. Here, we also use our low-sheen, water-based eggshell, which is best suited to bathrooms.

The work surface: You can choose any of the surfaces in the Neptune collection, from natural Carrara marble and granite to low-maintenance quartz, or pop into store to see all the other samples we are able to offer.

What's inside?: On the inside of the cupboard’s door are two cubbies which are useful for storing everyday essentials close at hand but out of sight, or for keeping cleaning products separate. There’s also a single shelf inside the cabinet itself.

Design Details: The curved shape of this piece makes it ideal for washstands in smaller rooms. Even though you’ll still need space to open the door, it’ll dominate the space less. It’ll also soften your overall scheme, whether it’s a modern bathroom or a traditional one. Helpfully, you can adjust the legs too in case your floor’s uneven.

Fitting: This will need to be fitted by a competant Carpenter/Fitter
